Hardwood Flooring Inspection

Picture 9

Hardwood flooring is meant to provide years of service but circumstances such as installation errors, product failure, or poor site conditions may arise and cause the floor to fail.

A certified wood flooring inspector can determine why the hardwood flooring failed and who is responsible.

Kjell Nymark will provide an unbiased, third-party flooring inspection when the parties involved in a flooring complaint can’t resolve their dispute.

The inspector will gather the appropriate data, perform several field tests, and make certain that the conclusions drawn are supported by the data collected and testing performed.

A detailed analysis of the concerns are documented in a report containing the following information:

  • Statement of the problem(s)
  • Claim history
  • Physical description
  • Field testing as applicablePicture 8
  • Reference to industry standards and guidelines
  • Conclusion based on the data and field tests
  • Identification of the cause

The inspection and report are confidential and not disclosed with anyone other than the commissioning party.

Based on the results outlined in the report, the parties may then find it easier to resolve the dispute. If the parties are unable to agree on a remedy based on the report, it may serve as the basis on which to achieve a mandated settlement in court.
